MONAXAPLUS · Tungsten & Carbide Processing

Technology for materials that are not simple.

Size reduction, debrazing, cleaning, separation and targeted material preparation — as one connected process rather than isolated operations.

IN-HOUSE PROCESS DEVELOPMENT

Our technology. Our know-how.

MONAXAPLUS develops proprietary processing procedures for materials that cannot be handled efficiently through standard material routes. Detailed parameters and process configurations remain internal company know-how.

ELECTROLYTIC CLEANING

In-house electrolytic cleaning technology

MONAXAPLUS has developed its own technological procedures for electrolytic cleaning of selected carbide- and tungsten-bearing materials. The process is used where unwanted metallic layers and residues need to be selectively removed while preparing the valuable tungsten-bearing fraction for downstream processing.

CONTROLLED CRUSHING

In-house tungsten crushing procedures

For massive and oversized tungsten and carbide inputs, we use our own procedures for cutting, crushing and controlled size reduction. Process selection is based on geometry, composition and the required output condition.

Detailed process parameters, equipment configurations and working procedures are not disclosed.
REAL TECHNOLOGY

Electrolytic cleaning in real operation

At MONAXAPLUS, we use in-house electrolytic baths for selected material types. The video shows a real part of our operation without disclosing internal process parameters.

PROCESS CAPABILITIES

Crushing & size reduction

Controlled size reduction of massive and oversized tungsten carbide components. For massive parts, the goal is to create a size and form that can move efficiently into the next process.

INPUT

Morgan Rolls · blocks · wear parts

Massive sintered parts, blocks, rolls and Morgan Rolls requiring controlled size reduction.

OUTPUT

Controlled fraction

Size reduction, removal of unwanted components and creation of a more consistent material stream.

Debrazing & cleaning

Removal of braze, copper, scale, carriers and other unwanted components. The objective is to separate the valuable carbide fraction from components that complicate downstream processing.

APPLICATION

Road & mining bits · brazed tools

Road & mining bits, brazed tools and assemblies containing copper, braze or steel carriers.

GOAL

Cleaner carbide fraction

Remove unwanted components

Separation

Mechanical and technology-based separation of individual material components. Separation follows the characteristics of the preceding process step and the requirements of the target material stream.

Material preparation

Sorting, fractioning and preparation of more consistent material streams for downstream processes. The goal is not a spectacular process, but a better secondary raw material for the next industrial stage.

What others see as a material problem, we treat as a processing task.
